The rectangular armoured padlock is the armoured revolution of the rectangular brass padlock. This padlock offers high resistance against picking, thanks to the robustness and solidity of its tempered steel armour.
Given that it comes in several versions (four of them) and seven different sizes, it is capable of meeting any security need. Besides being used in private and corporate applications, alongside padlocks for up-and-over-doors and roll-up-shutters, it is also used with FT’s range of security accessories for doors and vans.

The rectangular armoured padlock is made up of one block made of solid brass, operated through an internal brass cylinder.
The tempered steel protection armour with anti-rust treatment, can also partly or fully protect the body, depending on the selected version and required security level.
Made of tempered steel with anti-rust chrome-plating treatment, the locking bar (slider) is operated through a spring (snap mechanism available in the PUMA version).
The internal mechanism of the padlock is activated through anti-tamper brass pistons and counter-pistons. The springs are made of bronze and stainless steel.
The slider blocking latch is made of brass.
All versions come with master key (MK) and keyed alike (KA) systems.
